Le Conquet is literally the port at the end of the world, where catches are famous for the quality of fish and crustaceans, noble species like monkfish, ray and crab (the symbol of the town). Extraordinarily narrow alleys wind down to the old quays and ancient houses, their still imposing façades harking back to trading days with the islands. From these shores you can enjoy a trip to the islands, an excursion to Ushant or Molène.
Five minutes away by car, Plougonvelin, where you will find our hotel and its indoor pool, is a haven of peace at the extremity of Brittany. A visit to the Fort de Bertheaume is one of our unmissable outings. On an islet linked to the mainland by a little footbridge, the site has been fortified since the stone age. In the 17th Century Vauban himself designed the fortifications, and the fort is now a venue for concerts and sound and light shows. Adrenalin lovers will also enjoy the nearby sports facilities, the zip-line and climbing routes in particular.
